There is no charge for an initial mortgage review. We charge £499 for a standard mortgage application and £899 for a complex mortgage application. A complex application may include adverse credit, non-standard property, complicated or foreign income, high unsecured debt, multiple applicants, expatriate applicants, age or term restrictions, concessionary purchases or other circumstances that fall outside mainstream lending criteria.
For business and property finance that is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, such as certain bridging, commercial, development and business finance arrangements, we charge £299 when the application is submitted and a broker fee of up to 2% of the gross loan amount when a finance offer is issued. The £299 forms part of the total broker fee and is deducted from the balance payable on offer. We may receive and retain commission from the lender in addition to any fee paid by you. The amount will be disclosed in the lender’s documentation where applicable. We do not charge a fee for arranging protection insurance, but we may receive commission from the insurance provider.
The Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate some forms of buy-to-let mortgage, commercial mortgage, bridging finance, development finance or business finance. Not all services offered by us are covered by the Financial Conduct Authority. Your home or property may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage or any other debt secured against it.
